JumpHire, in collaboration with Cook County Health and Superior Ambulance, offers a comprehensive EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) training program. This program is designed to equip candidates with the essential skills and knowledge required to excel in emergency medical services.

Career Training for:

  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Training Schedule:

  • 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday) from 9am-2pm

Program Length:

  • 15 weeks

Compensation:

  • $16.25 per hour for training


Program Overview:

Our EMT training program combines rigorous hard skills training led by Superior Ambulance with essential soft skills development to ensure well-rounded professional growth.

Key Training Components:

  • Medical Emergency Response: Learning to assess and respond to medical emergencies.
  • Patient Care: Providing high-quality care to patients in various emergency situations.
  • CPR and First Aid: Certification in CPR and basic first aid techniques.
  • Ambulance Operations: Understanding the protocols and procedures for operating an ambulance.
  • Medical Equipment Usage: Training on the proper use of medical equipment in an emergency setting.
  • Communication Skills: Enhancing clear and effective communication with patients and medical professionals.
