At JumpHire, our comprehensive training equips participants with a competitive edge to succeed in their careers and make meaningful contributions to their industries. Our soft skills training enhances communication, teamwork, problem-solving, adaptability, leadership, and professionalism. Our Key Learning Areas are:
Wraparound Services
We understand that residents can face many obstacles when pursuing new careers. To minimize those barriers, we provide a holistic support system that will include the following supportive services:
- Financial Support (Stipends, Transportation, Daycare, and Healthy Meals)
- Mentoring & Career Navigation
- Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Soft Skills & Business Professionalism Development
Recognizing the importance of on-going support, JumpHire will provide support services up to one year after the participants obtain employment.
Community Programming
The staff at JumpHire recognizes the importance of community engagement. The center offers community programming and events that are aligned for high school students and young adults interested in exploring personal interests in areas such as photography, digital media, robotics, and coding. We will also host neighborhood events such as pop-up shops for local businesses and healthy eating and nutrition classes for residents.
Partner Resources
We’ve developed meaningful partnerships with several local and nationally recognized nonprofits to provide supplementary support services such as access to housing, mental health professionals, civil legal assistance, and more.
