Our programs combine industry-focused instruction with job placement support in high-demand healthcare careers, including Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Pharmacy Technician, and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Participants gain practical experience, industry-recognized credentials, and a clear pathway to employment.

Program Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Attend a required informational session at our office

Prerequisite Training

All career training programs begin with four weeks of prerequisite training at our East Garfield Park office. During this phase, participants develop professional skills, workplace readiness, and the foundational knowledge needed to succeed in their chosen career pathway.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program is one of our most in-demand training pathways. This free CNA training program in Chicago is a comprehensive healthcare course that prepares participants for state certification and entry-level healthcare careers in as little as 12 weeks.

  • Training Schedule
  • Weeks 1-4: Prerequisite training at the JumpHire office
  • Weeks 5-12: Medical training held at our training partner.
  • Week 13 and Beyond: Graduation and job placement support.

Pharmacy Technician

This program prepares participants for careers as pharmacy technicians, combining patient interaction with essential healthcare support. Designed for individuals entering the healthcare field, the program provides free Pharmacy Technician training in Chicago that is industry-relevant and a clear pathway to employment. Graduates have successfully launched careers with employer partners such as CVS.

  • Weeks 1-4: Prerequisite training at JumpHire
  • Weeks 5-8: Pharmacy training continues at JumpHire.
  • Externship Placement: A JumpHire success coach will help coordinate your externship placement based on availability and location opportunities.
  • Weeks 9+ : Graduation and job application support

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about serving others during critical moments. This intensive training pathway prepares participants for certification and careers in emergency medical services.

  • Program Duration : 16 weeks
  • Weeks 1-4: Prerequesite training at JumpHire
  • Weeks 5-16: EMT classes are led by an industry professional and typically held at our office.
  • Week 16: Graduation and preparation for the national certification exam
